The downstairs area of the cottage is suitable for disabled access, although some assistance may be required. All floors are solid wood with occasional rugs for comfort.
The cottage boasts its own collection of local art and craft work; some of which was created by the owner Calum Angus, himself an artist - others which he and Christine have collected over the years and specially selected for inclusion in the cottage. Please feel free to ask about these at any time should you wish any more information about the artist or where local art and crafts can be purchased.

There is a large, gas bbq housed within the shed - which is for the use of guests. Behind the cottage there is a drying green and picnic area for sitting, with ample parking space for cars. The land around the cottage is currently being landscaped, in keeping with the surrounding habitat, in an effort to keep this as natural as possible.
